Apparently, your interpretation & opinion of the title of the group is incorrect. You are thinking tactical. Instead of focusing solely on which fund we should be in today, tomorrow or for the rest of the year, consider external factors that will help your nest egg grow in the long run and build your wealth - in other words - think strategically. Estate planning, life insurance, taxes, social security, estate planning are all variables that will determine if the TSP nest egg you have amassed will be there for you in retirement.

What is the path forward ?   I see the group moved to S-Fund, probably a good move since I-Fund has performed poorly almost all of 2018.   are we remaining in S-Fund ?  why , why not?   

also, it seems like this group is talking about a lot besides the TSP, (title of the group).  not sure if the focus has been lost or not, but I am not interested in tax talk, life insurance talk, estate plans, etc
