As we have discussed on numerous occasions, TSP services often do the following...
1. They come out with a particular service.
2. If that service isn't doing very well (e.g. because it isn't sufficiently aggressive), they then come out with a second fund...Aggressive.
3. If those two funds aren't doing very well (e.g. because they aren't sufficiently conservative), they then come out with a third fund...Conservative.
etc.
They may then show that at least one of their funds is always exceptional.
By the way, TSP Max is shutting down.
TSPMAX is retiring at the end of 2017 .. no new or renewal subscriptions to be sold after 1/1/2017. Effective January 1, 2017, TSPMAX will cease to offer new or renewal subscriptions. This will allow for an orderly shutdown, as TSPMAX subscribers will be able to enjoy the full duration of their subscriptions through their expiration. After the last subscription has expired, we expect to halt operations and shut down our web presence. It has been an honor and privilege to serve US Government employees these past 13+ years, and your patronage and support has been greatly appreciated. We wish you great success, in continuing to grow your TSP accounts and in your federal careers, and good health and fortune in your personal lives as well.
