Jeff,
Thank you very much for sharing your website. I like it very much.
I'm curious about something though. The "Seymour Money" article makes the statement that "F fund doesn't help the method." Faber's paper makes the case that the methodology basically works across all asset classes. Why wouldn't using the F fund benefit returns if used, not as another asset allocation, but as an alternative to cash? When the signal indicates moving out of S,C or I, look at the F indicator to determine whether to move into F or G? I am not smart enough to back test this, but it makes sense to me that it should work. The article makes the point that the simple act of rebalancing can add a few basis points. If the 10-month MA indicates F is likely to outperform G, then surely that should net a few more points.

Back in July when this was posted, I started building a small website that applies Faber's model as described in the Federal News Radio article: http://
federalnewsradio.com/federal- report/2016/07/want-more- control-over-your-investments/ Here is the website: https://tactical-thrift.herokuapp.com/ It is just a little exercise in programming for me, but you may find it useful if you are interested in following this investment model. It shows the current position for each fund (C, S, and I), and lets you see a history of all actions back to when TSP started providing data in 2003. It automatically updates the investment positions on the first day of each month.
Hope you find it useful. Let me know if you have any feedback.
