Sorry cant let that one go without a response. You could blame Bush at best for part of 2008-2009. It's been 8 years already and still virtually no growth. Where is the growth??? Folks are starting to work again,? In low wage jobs you mean if they can find one.
We have the lowest labor participation rate since Carter, 17 million Americans unemployed or underemployed, record levels of folks on welfare and a affordable care act which is skyrocketing in cost for sub par care. Not too mention the loss of the US, AAA bond rating and a historic doubling of the national debt to nearly 20 Trillon.
No things are not well and clearly not sustainable.

I'm not greedy...I'll take a 2% average over the (negative) it would have been based on the previous presidents endeavors. Car company bailout, bank bailout, unemployment back down, interest rates low, more Americans with health care....just imagine if none of that was started 8 years ago? American car companies are doing gang busters, folks are starting to work again...people buying houses and refinancing under these historic low rates. If all of that gets me 2%...again, I'm good with that....it could have been (-10%) or worse for these past 8 years.
