Re: [LeadersWorkshop] How ethical we are!

Dear Ashok,

Plagiarism is a serious issue for us Indians. A forward is always "a forward" but we tend to have a false feeling of self appreciation by claiming it as our own piece of work.
The bottomline is ,do we really need to steal others' ideas and claim them as our own ?
When will we grow up as a society and claim only what is rightfully OURS- creatively as well as in general, is a matter of grave concern for a Developing Country as Ours.
We should curb our tendency to feel elated by sharing others creativity and circulating it as Our Own.The very Foundations of this Nation are laid on Truth and Tolerance.
Such malpractice can be questioned on an open forum.Thanks.

Dear Friends,

It really gives you a great feeling to see your name in the print.  People do appreciate when you share good articles on various forums lime Yahoo groups.

But is it really ethical to pass it on as your creativity without mentioning even name of the authors.  I was shocked to see some such cases.  In fact, was able to catch it fast, when I saw that these articles were authored by me.  It may be taken as a complaint by the moderators (if they care!).

But, in fact I would invite your mature responses - including from the friends who are very active on the net and are indulging into such practice.

Regards,

Ashok Grover
