[LeadersWorkshop] HR Meeting in Chennai - The Open Source Leader

 

Hello HR folks,

Trust things are fine with you. HR Sangam is a Chennai based forum for HR professionals founded by Mr. Shashikanth Jayaraman that enjoys the patronage of more than 500 HR professionals from the city. We conduct regular monthly meetings inviting senior HR practitioners to share their insights on contemporary areas of HR.

 

After a hectic appraisal season, we are pleased to announce first session in this financial year.HR Sangam presents its next session "Leadership Series: Review of the Open Source Leader"

 

This session is based on the book titled Open Source Leader by Sangeeth Varghese and shall provide a review from an HR perspective.

 

In this era of increasing complexities, leadership is evolving faster than ever before. More forward-looking organizations are moving away from the traditional closed forms towards an Open Source Leader model, where people are nurtured across layers by opening unto them the power and authority associated with leadership.

If organizations and leaders do not keep up with this evolution, they will be left in the lurch. But if they manage to keep pace, they will live another day, to tell the tale of their success.
Open Source Leader tells the story of such organizations that have managed to evolve ahead of their contemporaries.

 

Session Facilitator: Shashikanth Jayaraman

Shashi heads the HR function for South India at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. comes with a decade of experience in the gamut of HR covering a wide array from recruitment, talent management, retention, Performance Management, Business partnering, Training, HRIS and Employee Engagement.

 

Venue: Andhra Chamber of Commerce, New No: 23, Third Cross Street, West CIT Nagar, Nandanam, Chennai-600 035 (Basement hall)

 

Direction & Landmark:  While coming along Anna Salai from Guindy, take the left before the signal where the Hyundai car showroom is located (CIT nagar). Also, the venue is located on the same lane as that of Alpha Matriculation School

 

Timings & Date: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Sunday, the 8^th of May 2011.

Registration and networking over tea shall commence at the venue from 9:30 am

 

Session Fee: Free for members and Rs.150 for non members
