[TSPStrategy] Retired/pending first check

Hello all,

I retired at the end of May 2023 after 22 years as federal law enforcement. I am still pending the welcome letter, online password and first interim payment. I contacted OPM through their email and the responded on the same day. My case went to a Legal Administrative Specialist last week and then for final review on August 15th. For those of you who retired recently, is it standard practice to send to legal for review? Is "Final Review" the last step before they send the first interim payment?
