there was a question about S fund and september SO
just graphing raw data back to 2005 (14 yrs)
Doesn't give much insight
So last 7.5 years raw data
other than I & S more or less flat for 2 years, C not much better, treading water so to speak
there __MAY__ be an interesting oscillation in the funds if you graph a
Is the close greater or less that the 5 day moving average?
Is the 5 day moving average (1 week) moving average greater or less than the 20 day (1 month)?
Is the 20 day moving average greater of less than the 50 day moving average?
sum either, 0, 1, 2, or 3 for each depending upon answer
then graph a 20 day moving average of that sum to create an oscillator.
It ___seems___ maybe, perhaps, to indicate an upward turn, or a trap to lose money with
being retired i'm inclined to watch and not act, do nothing and not risk
This oscillation may mean nothing, but is intriguing, a magnification of it below
If, as I suspect, things may turn up, or not
