My agency pays on the 2nd Thursday of the 2-week period following the period I work. Using the NFC calendar:
First pay of tax year 2018 is during pp 26 2017 on 1/4/18.
Last pay of tax year 2018 is during pp 25 2018 on 12/20/18
That is 26 payments during tax year 2018.
Payment for pp26 2018 will be made on 1/3/19.
I do wish OPM would be clearer about all this. It drives me insane every year IRS changes the limit.
