Re: [TSP_Strategy] Re: A fear driven IFT move!

Seems to be more positive sentiment out there than negative. I think we we might see more upside as people afraid to miss the move start buying more equities. Oil has stabilized which is good for the energy stocks as well. Retail keeps getting killed but with Amazon and Apple on the move it is further anchoring gains. We just have to see.

Here are the returns since TSP Strategy moved 100% out of S into F on 8 March 2016:

   G +0.37%
   F +1.15%
   C +6.11%
   S +7.60%

   I +4.98%

All 3 equity funds are now above their 50- and 200-day moving averages. How much longer do you think this nice 3-month run-up in C, S and I will last?

S&P is in a seesaw range. I moved to 60% C, and 20% each for I and S a couple of different times this month. Currently there now. Banks may rally with more upside if the Fed moves in June. Fly and watch it.

Well, typically the F-Fund drops during the equity market rally.  However, if the equity market tops and start going down, then the F-Fund should do alright. If you really want to be safe, then you should put in G fund.  The F fund will also drop a bit initially if the FED, indeed, raises interest rate in the June meeting.  If not, then it should gain.

After the big losses we had in the in the equity market during early parts of the year, It was very hard for me to erase all that losses, but very close to recover that losses as close of today.  So I pulled out my remaining equity position to G fund today because I'll be on travel status for about month starting next week.  Hopefully, I wouldn't miss a whole lot of action for the next month though.  Good luck folks!

I am 100% F fund  per the groups strategy unless I missed a message while I was on travel.

I noticed the other day the F fund is actually dropping. Now F fund that's as safe as you can get so that has me concerned.

I am past 50 , so my catch up contributions plus my regular contributions so be showing up?
