Here's my latest experience with Social Security and a bank…

My friend died …I will soon be the Executor of her Will.
She has some AutoPays from her checking account….which also receives her monthly Social Security payment. The balance in this account is well beyond her monthly Social Security amount.

Social Security notified the bank receiving of her death and a potential that some funds MAY be reclaimed.

This bank chose to stop ALL FUNDS GOING INTO OR OUT OF HER ACCOUNT.

Be cautious with your accounts ….this may affect you.
