How much wealth can you tolerate?

How much wealth can you tolerate?

by Parmahansa Sri nithyananda.

Does that sound like a surprising question?

It isn't.

Our idea about wealth is intimately tied up with our idea of ourselves. Each of us carries a definite idea of how capable we are, how high we can aim and how much we can accomplish. This is a complex programming that we usually create in childhood, when we are just forming our identity. What is amazing is that our idea of ourselves is usually determined by a few random incidents in our life, maybe some parental influence and societal conditioning and other such arbitrary factors. However, over the years, we allow our life choices to be increasingly determined by this unconscious programming, until it filters down and settles in our bio-memory by the time we are grown and ready to take on the world. Believe it or not, this bunch of illogical childhood decisions is what controls our actions for the rest of our lives – including our idea of how much wealth, success or happiness we can actually tolerate!

It is as if we have a secret comfort zone, beyond which we dare not step out, because we don't feel sure we can handle that much wealth or success. After all, for most people, wealth is a huge responsibility – creating it, maintaining it, even spending it. When we don't feel confident that we can handle it, we start making unconscious decisions that will draw us back into poverty. Unfortunately, we are rarely aware that we are impairing our own chances, and start feeling that we have been handed a raw deal.

The first step to improving your wealth tolerance is finding out where your problem really lies. If you find that you are usually on a wealth roller-coaster, where you almost get to the point of finally becoming wealthy, but something always goes wrong at the last minute – it's time you seriously examined your wealth tolerance levels!

Just ask yourself these few simple questions – and be sure to answer them honestly!

Am I really comfortable with wealth?

Do I feel the need to be in control of my assets always?

How much wealth can I honestly tolerate?

Can I really let go and allow myself to get wealthy?

If your answer to the last question is Yes, start working on that answer. Go ahead and make a conscious decision to stop sabotaging your own efforts at getting wealthy! If a few unconscious childhood decisions can have such power over you, imagine the power of your conscious resolution! With one conscious resolution, you can break free of the poverty cycle and be on your way to healthy abundance.

Cleaning your inner space to attract wealth

Cleaning your inner space to attract wealth

by Parmahansa Sri Nithyananda

ABOUT THE TECHNIQUE

One of the powerful techniques for attracting wealth is using your power of visualization and manifestation. But as we are only too aware, every intention we have, no matter how strong or deep, does not automatically become reality!

Why is this?

For an intention or desire to be transformed into reality, your inner space or inner screen needs to be totally clean. As of now, your inner space is corrupted by many unconscious thoughts. The moment you insert a conscious intention into your inner space, ten unconscious thoughts will rise to fight with it! So the power of your intention is diluted and naturally it cannot become reality.

When your inner space is cleansed of unconscious thoughts, whatever intention goes in will be a single, conscious, integrated force. This intention will be powerful enough to express itself as reality.

This technique is a simple but powerful way to clean your inner screen of unconscious thoughts by infusing awareness into it.

Even if it looks too simple, try it. Only when you do it can you experience the effects. The whole restaurant can be reduced to a menu card. Only when you eat will you realize that the food can fill you!

Duration: 21 minutes

INSTRUCTIONS

Close your eyes. Sit straight. Inhale and exhale as slowly and as deeply as possible.

Visualize your inner screen as a dark blackboard, as dark as possible.

Whatever appears on that inner blackboard, start visually wiping it away.

Just as an eraser is used to clean a blackboard, in the same way just wipe clean the inner blackboard or inner screen.

Now, visualize the number '3' on your inner screen. Visualize it very clearly and then wipe it away slowly. Repeat this three times.

Next, visualize the number '2' on your inner screen, and then wipe it away slowly. Repeat this three times.

Then, visualize the number '1' and wipe it away slowly in the same way. Repeat this three times.

Now visualize the number '0' and wipe it away very slowly. Repeat this three times.

By the time you reach the number zero, you will have no thoughts that are unconscious. You will reach awareness before you start creating thoughts unconsciously.

Your visualization becomes so powerful that the inner screen really becomes empty.

The moment the inner screen becomes empty, you can start looking in. You will begin seeing your being as it is.

Now, just witness the empty screen. Do not create, maintain or destroy any thought. Just witness the empty screen.

Continue to be with yourself for a few moments.

This simple technique can sharpen your powers of visualization in ways you will never imagine! Visualization is a powerful way to attract abundance into your life.

 Wealth is life energy

Wealth is life energy

by Parmahansa Shri Nithyananda

Creation is all about high enthusiasm. Enthusiasm means being in a constant state of high energy for no particular reason. Whether you realize it or not, enthusiasm is a natural quality of all living beings. It is your very quality, just like your breathing. It is the natural life-force that runs through us all, urging us to move continuously towards greater and greater creativity and expansion. Expansion is the natural flow of life. The creation of abundance in any form is the very nature of life - whether it is material wealth, knowledge, relationships or spiritual wisdom.

Are you creating 'wealth blocks' for yourself?

If you are not creating wealth, ask yourself where you are blocking off your life-energy. Are you carrying a secret guilt about wealth? Do you feel you are not worthy of wealth? Do your feel that having wealth is in some way wrong? Or are you afraid that you might not be able to manage wealth? If you watch yourself very closely, you will find that you are blocking off your own fullest expression in some way.

A simple clarity about where you are creating these energy blocks for yourself is the first step towards creating abundance.

[LeadersWorkshop] Fw: ~~~~~~~~~.. What is wealth consciousness?

 What is wealth consciousness?

What is wealth consciousness?

by Parmahansa Sri Nithyananda

In the Bhagavad Gita, the enlightened master Krishna makes a wise statement: Gahano karmano gatihi – the universe by its very nature works, works, works. The nature of the universe is to work, create and expand. Life's flow itself is work. Wealth is a natural result of this process. If you are working but not creating wealth, it means that all your work is happening in wrong direction!

What is wealth consciousness?

The first step towards becoming wealthy is creating a wealthy consciousness. We all want a better world and a better life for ourselves, but we rarely take the responsibility to stand up and make it happen. When you align yourself to the universal laws, you take the responsibility to create and sustain wealth in ways that will benefit all. Wealth consciousness means making a clear decision to break out of the myths and mental patterns that impoverish us and draw us again and again into the poverty cycle.

What's stopping us from expressing our ability to create wealth? Here we look at some common myths and mindsets we carry about wealth – and how to break free of them:

Myth 1: Making money is a sin!

Do you feel guilty about becoming wealthy? It is time to break out of the traditional idea that a rich man can never enter the gates of heaven! It is simply a social conditioning which you can snap out of with a simple understanding and a conscious decision. Understand that it is perfectly alright to create abundance for ourselves, as long as we are not grabbing from others. Create as much wealth as you can, celebrate it, share it. Wealth consciousness is high creativity with high responsibility.

Myth 2: Wealthy people work smart, not hard

We all carry a secret hatred for hard work! That is why the idea of taking a vacation is fascinating to everybody! When was the last time you really stretched yourself to make something happen? Don't be too lazy to bend your body and mind to realize your dreams. Read the stories of any famous millionaire today, and you will see that wealth does not come from a genie in a bottle. Wealth that has not been earned will never stay with you, because you will naturally lack the intelligence to sustain it.

Myth 3: You have to be worthy of it…

If you feel that you are not worthy of being wealthy, then your work should start in the inner world, not in the outer world. No matter how hard you work, you will never be or feel wealthy, because right now your consciousness is feeling small and shrunken. When you expand your inner space, you will be able to put wealth in the right perspective: as an excellent utility, and no more. You are worth much more than your wealth! With meditation, your inner space becomes so vast that you will simply see that everything, including wealth, is just the play of your consciousness. It may sound unbelievable now, but this is the truth. Wealth serves those who are wealthy in their very consciousness.

[LeadersWorkshop] Fw:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~...What Do You Look for In Your Job.?? Story.: Water in the Pot

[LeadersWorkshop] Fw:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~...What Do You Look for In Your Job.?? Story.: Water in the Pot

t

Friday Learnings: Water in the Pot>

Jobs not only bestow money and power,
they also make for wisdom and learning
Published in Corporate Dossier ET, October 21, 2011, Author Devdutt Patnaik

Unable to bear his poverty, a priest went to the temple and begged the deity there for a solution. That night the deity left a golden pot in the courtyard of the priest's house. The priest found the golden pot with some water in it. He threw the water out and went to the market where he sold the pot to a merchant. With the money he received, he repaid all his debts and returned home a rich man laden with gifts for his family. Soon after, his family fought over the vast wealth, everyone from his wife to his children to his parents and his siblings demanding their share.

Unable to bear the mental agony, the priest went back to the temple and complained to the deity. "You have added to my problem not solved it with the golden pot". And deity said, "Golden pot? What golden pot? I gave you the elixir of contentment, enough for you and your family. It happened to be contained in a golden pot. Did you not drink it?"

Every job is a golden container full of water. The pot is the salary that pays our bills and the designation that pleases our desire to feel significant. But in each job is potentially the opportunity to grow intellectually and emotionally. Each job contains the seed of learning that can germinate in our mind, if we allow it to. Unfortunately, jobs are seen more in economic terms (the pot) than in learning terms (the water).

When Jacob retired, he expected that the company would throw a farewell party. This did not happen. He expected that the company would miss him terribly and call him back. This did not happen either. He felt unwanted and small. He did not matter, he realised. So when he went back to claim his final dues, he went with a heavy heart. As he waited outside the office, familiar faces passed him by. Some stopped and spoke to him, some smiled, some just ignored him. At that moment, Jacob had a Eureka moment. He realised he did not need his job to validate himself.

That is what he was doing and that was his problem. The office, like the forest, outlives the resident beasts. The beasts find nourishment in the forest but eventually they die. The forest continues to be neither loving nor hating towards its resident beasts. Animals do not resent the forest when it is time for them to go, but humans do. Why?

Animals work for survival. Humans are the only animals who also work for meaning. Hence in Sanskrit, the same word, artha, is used to indicate economics, politics and meaning. Jobs can give us money and power (the pot) but they can also give us wisdom (the water). Do we drink the water?

As Jacob speculated, he drank the water. Suddenly wisdom dawned. He felt like Newton hit by an apple. He realized that he was expecting too much from the organisation. It neither loved him nor hated it. It gave him value and he gave value to it. And now it was time to part ways, without rage or resentment. With that, Jacob found his final artha and quenched his thirst. He took his dues and left with a smile.
