[TSPStrategy] Current Allocation

What is the current TSP recommended allocation?  I checked "Databases" and current allocation database file could not be found.  Is that still being tracked/posted?

Re: [TSPStrategy] Off Topic: Pension Question

Re: [TSPStrategy] Off Topic: Pension Question

The solution would be to pay for sick leave like they do for annual leave! A lot of employees sacrifice for years going to work sick or with sick family members!

Yeah, he was technically wrong when he said that they "can't" deny sick leave, but I'm sure he's thinking of his own agency's rules or union contract.  What they can't do is treat you differently than everyone else for no reason.  That's not even getting into the FMLA legality.

Look, when you're 50 or 60 some years old, it's not going to be difficult to get your doctor to say you need less stress in your life.  Stress kills.  Take a day off every week and go get a massage.  Or go to the chiropracter (and get a massage).  Or go for a hike.  Or go to the beach.  Or go sit on your porch.  It doesn't matter what you're actually doing if your doctor gives you a note saying you are under his/her care and that you need Mondays and Fridays off every week to improve your health.

Re: [TSPStrategy] Off Topic: Pension Question

Re: [TSPStrategy] Off Topic: Pension Question

I did 38 years of government service. Worked a lot of extra hours that I never got paid for so to me it was a wash. Also, my supervisors really didn't have an issue with it. Sometimes I did actually go to a dentist or doctor but instead of going back to work I went home.
