Re: [TSPStrategy] Tsp advisory services

I suggest investing in the TSP Mutual Fund Window.  As you probably know, you are allowed to invest up to 25% of your TSP balance in mutual funds.  About 2,000 mutual funds are available to invest in.  With some research and screening you can identify promising mutual funds.  I am now invested in a Bitcoin mutual fund, a large cap growth fund, a semiconductor fund, and a small cap value fund.

Aside from the 25% that I have in the mutual fund window, my TSP allocation now is:  30% C, 30% S, and 40% G.

Personally I believe the next few years will be more volatile and harder to predict. I have decided to take an approach closer to the Bogleheads theory of investing. One of the Bogleheads, William Bernstein has written several books and has a paper online summarizing the Boglehead approach to investing, "If You Can".

Another author who shares a similar investing strategy is Richard Ferri.
After reading his book "All About Asset Allocation", I decided on this allocation of funds:
 25% C, 25% S, 20% I, 20% F, and 10% G

Whatever you do, don't leave it all in the G fund.
