Not 65 yet but i took the retirement course. I think it would be a big mistake to skip Medicare because IF for some reason your situation changes and you need Medicare, there is a stiff penalty for each year you delayed in getting Medicare.

Best for who? Part B is $170 x12 = $2040 minus $800 bac from BCBS = $1240. Lot of doctor visit co pays to make that worth while.
