It may help to know that FEHB Blue Cross Blue Shield (FEP Blue) pays $800/year to partially reimburse the cost of Medicare Part B premiums (Part A is free for most people). $1600/year reimbursement for a couple helps make BCBS Basic a more affordable option as your secondary insurer.
