Every hour of remaining SL counts towards your total service time and the annuity calculation. As of last year, local VA Human Resources is no longer handling employee retirement, including benefits estimates. That task is now owned by Retirement Shared Services Office (RSSO), located in Topeka, Kansas. Your local VA can provide their contact info.
