That would strictly be an academic exercise, since TSP didn't exist before 1986. If you really wanted to go to the trouble, you would have to use the historical values for the equivalent regular/commercial indices. 

The "value" of the projection would be low, since there was no publicly available investment plan that was managed like the TSP is.
