Thank you for the reply.  I consider myself pretty smart but as far as investing goes I am completely inept at understanding the dynamics which you guys talk about so elegantly.   I've tried but it doesn't seem to click.  I once knew a PhD who simply couldn't understand computers and I know a couple,  both of whom are surgeons but they don't know how to make a reservation online.
