I agree that the Fed will be slow to raise interest rates, however I do believe that they will likely raise them between 0.5% and 1.0% through 2016. A lot will depend not only on the US economy but also Europe and China and the rest of the world to a lesser extent.

While I agree with much of your analysis, I believe that the Fed will be loathe to raise interest rates any further should the markets continue to tank.  I anticipate that near term future  fed statements will be designed to assist in propping up equities. The result should be a slow bull market until the economy picks up steam.
