People who are in retirement or close to it should probably have a good portion in the G Fund if they are making withdrawals or plan to in the next few years. Otherwise, don't have more in the stock market than you can tolerate to lose.

The G fund is always bullish.  If you feel more comfortable in the G fund, you should be there.
